Model Moment: Ji Hye Park

I haven't done this in a while but just wanted to share some images of this model who caught my eye last season and hopefully, you'll be seeing more of her in the coming weeks when the HC and F/W 2013 fashion shows hit.

Ji Hye Park started her international runway debut last season as a semi-exclusive for Alexander Wang. She then went on to walk for a number of other brands in New York including DKNY, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren. She skipped over London Fashion Week but got right back into action in Milan, walking for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Marni.

But, it was in Paris where her momentum really picked up and she walked for more shows there than she did in New York and Milan combined. Her Paris showlist ended up to be fairly stellar, including major fashion houses like Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen, and Céline. In total, she walked 28 shows.

And how has she been doing off the runways since? Well, she was featured in the Louis Vuitton S/S 2013 ad campaign, which is probably the major highlight of her career so far. In terms of editorial work, she is on Vogue Korea's January 2013 cover (and also has an editorial in the issue). She is also featured in the January 2013 issues of Harper's Bazaar Korea, Vogue China, and Vogue Italia.

If you can't tell, I'm absolutely captivated by her. And, for some reason, she reminds me a lot of Karlie Kloss (who I also love!) especially from certain angles. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll be able to match the calibre of shows she did last season in the coming fashion weeks. And in the long run, I'd love for her print work to pick up.
